Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking an Inventory Support Supervisor for our Riverside Distribution Center. You will oversee the Inventory Support department, manage cycle counts, transfers, and aging inventory, and report to the Operations Manager of Inventory.

The role requires supervising 20+ staff, training, and strong communication. Proficiency with WMS systems like Manhattan, Red Prairie, and Highjump is essential, along with LEAN knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervising 20+ people in a fulfillment/distribution center.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan, Red Prairie, Highjump).
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook and computer-based WMS proficiency.
• LEAN production experience or familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Inventory team including 1 Team Lead and 5 associates.
• Oversee cycle counts, inventory transfers, and aging inventory.
• Respond to PO updates and inventory inquiries promptly.
• Coach and train staff; ensure safety and accuracy.
• Monitor daily tasks to meet deadlines and maintain processes.
• Conduct observations and provide constructive feedback.
