Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Distribution Center HR Business Partner to collaborate with leadership in driving workforce performance, engagement, and operational excellence. You will provide hands-on HR support across engagement, performance management, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and special HR projects.

As a strategic partner, you will build relationships with leaders, coach on policies, ensure legal compliance, support staffing for exempt and nonexempt roles,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years’ experience with employee relations, staffing & selection, compensation & benefits and/or training.
• Experience applying the knowledge of Federal, State, Labor and Employment laws.
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (SUM, charts, sorting, etc.) and PowerPoint/Word.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong relationships with leaders and provides partnership to implement HR strategies, programs, and deliverables.
• Provides coaching and guidance on policies and practices.
• Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Conducts recruitment for exempt and nonexempt staff and contingent workers; orients new hires; monitors career-pathing.
