Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Manager of Human Resources for its Distribution Center operations. You will lead HR strategy delivery, including talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, pay administration, and training delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 2+ years HR experience in ER, staffing, compensation or training.
• 5+ years HR experience with knowledge of federal/state/labor laws.
• At least 1 year of direct or cross-functional leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 5% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Translate HR strategy to the Distribution Center through talent programs and processes.
• Develop, deliver, and gain adoption of talent programs, succession planning, and recruiting strategy.
• Coach leadership to achieve business goals using Walgreens tools and training models.
• Create tools or programs that support HR strategy and initiatives.
• Educate managers on HR initiatives and ensure program delivery.
• Manage recruitment programs to meet business needs efficiently.
• Oversee HR processes for the DC, including employee investigations and relations.
• Deploy leadership and tools to maintain a harassment-free workplace and measure engagement.
• Deliver onboarding, safety compliance, performance, and talent management programs.
• Conduct Howdy Rounds to address hourly team questions or concerns.
• Escalate significant employee relations cases to HR/ER/Legal with business impact.
