Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Manager of Human Resources to lead HR services for a Distribution Center, overseeing talent management, acquisition, employee and labor relations, pay administration, succession planning, training, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and HR investigations.

You will partner with COEs, lead a team of HR professionals, and ensure the HR strategy aligns with business priorities while upholding regulatory compliance and a harassment-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years HR experience in employee relations, staffing and selection, compensation and benefits and/or training OR High School GED and at least 5 years HR experience in employee relations, staffing and selection, compensation and benefits and/or training.
• At least five (5) years of experience applying knowledge of Federal, State, Labor and Employment laws.
• At least 1 year of direct or cross-functional leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 5% (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Drive translation of HR strategy to the Distribution Center through talent programs and processes.
• Develop and deliver talent and development programs, succession planning, performance management, and recruitment strategy.
• Coach leadership to transform and achieve business goals using Walgreens tools and learning model.
• Create tools or programs supporting HR strategy and initiatives.
• Educate managers on HR initiatives and ensure program delivery.
• Manage recruitment programs to meet business needs efficiently.
• Oversee HR processes for the DC and escalation of HR delivery opportunities.
• Monitor HR metrics and drive business performance through predictive analysis.
