Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Experience in DC controls, electrical circuitry and industrial automation.
• Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, ladder logic and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in DC electrical controls and industrial electrical systems.
• Teach students Allen-Bradley PLC programming, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Provide instruction in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control circuits and relays.
• Develop practical labs, projects and assessments aligned with curriculum.
• Train students in electrical diagnostics, testing and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures per OSHA, LOTO and PPE requirements.
• Monitor student progress, evaluate performance and maintain records.
• Inspect and coordinate maintenance of training equipment.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure curriculum delivery and outcomes.
• Prepare students for the workforce.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development.
