Job summary

StrataTech Education Group seeks an Automation and Process Controls Instructor to deliver our pre-developed curriculum to current technicians for upskilling in industrial automation. You will instruct PLC programming, fluid power, and power transmission through classroom and hands-on labs, ensuring safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes professional client interaction, reporting, and maintaining lab readiness.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on field experience in the assigned technical discipline within the past 10 years.
NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certification.
Proficiency with basic digital tools including documentation platforms and learning management systems.
Ability to work individually and within a group.
Excellent written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned program curriculum in classroom and lab settings with technical accuracy and instructional clarity.
Follow the curriculum as designed and obtain approvals for deviations.
Adapt delivery style to adult learners across varying levels of prior experience.
Prepare for each session in advance and maintain attendance records and progress documentation.
Maintain the lab environment and enforce safety protocols (PPE, OSHA compliance).
Conduct reporting and administrative requirements on time and communicate scheduling needs.
