Job summary

A Democratic New Jersey Congressman seeks a highly organized, good-humored, hard-working Scheduler to develop, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the Member’s daily and long-term schedule and logistics in DC, NJ, as well as national travel.

The Scheduler will report to the Chief of Staff and work closely with the Member, DC staff, and District Office staff, including a district-based scheduler responsible for in-district scheduling.

Qualifications

• Prior scheduling experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and strong driving skills are required; having a car is not required.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work long hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the Member’s daily and long-term schedule and logistics in DC, NJ, and for national travel.
• Track, evaluate, and respond to scheduling requests and invitations; coordinate travel for the Member.
• Assist with onboarding and training for staff and interns; support office operations and staff across district offices.
