Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection professional to support the DC Asset Protection Manager in reducing shrink, improving safety, and ensuring compliance across the operation. You will assist with audits, investigations, and maintaining security systems while coaching staff on risk-aware practices.

In this role you will analyze incident trends, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and help implement training that prevents incidents and reduces liability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Shifts include nights and weekends; offsite/annex locations may apply.
• High school diploma or GED required; related field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Asset Protection Manager with monthly audits to identify shrink risk and safety compliance.
• Assist with regulatory investigations (OSHA, EPA, state and federal agencies).
• Oversee security systems and ensure all electronic systems are in good working order.
• Lead auditing processes and develop action plans for identified deficiencies.
• Review weekly incident reports and discuss trends with leadership.
• Participate in safety incident investigations and training.
