Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Assistant to support the AP manager in reducing shrink, improving safety, and maintaining data integrity across audits and investigations. The role covers OSHA standards, safety training, and incident response within the DC environment.

You will help conduct monthly audits, review incident trends, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and ensure security systems are functional.

• Requires high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist AP Manager with monthly audits to identify shrink risk and safety compliance.
• Support regulatory investigations (OSHA, EPA, state/federal agencies).
• Oversee security systems operation and audit processes to mitigate exposures.
• Lead auditors in daily operations and ensure accuracy in shipping, safety, and audit records.
• Participate in safety incident investigations and help drive training actions.
• Assist in creating new processes to prevent safety incidents.
