Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist responsible for reducing loss from theft and fraud and ensuring safety and environmental program compliance in assigned stores. You will monitor CCTV, review reports, and audit security systems to drive shrink elimination.

You will prepare accurate case reports, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify as needed in criminal or civil actions. The role emphasizes integrity and risk-aware decision making.

Responsibilities

• Prevent financial loss caused by theft and fraud and support safety and environmental program compliance in assigned stores.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement.
• Monitor CCTV and exception reports, audit security measures, and drive a shrink-elimination culture in the store.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and uphold integrity while supporting asset protection objectives.
