Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and guide the distribution center toward efficient, safe, and productive operations. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline, and potentially terminate hourly associates, overseeing 20 to 30 staff.

Responsibilities include managing processes, coaching associates, driving results through metrics, and business planning to align staffing with the plan. Travel is unlikely, with standard DC responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing operations processes and identifying improvements to standard procedures.
• Coaching and developing hourly associates, conducting evaluations, and handling hiring and discipline as needed.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and driving key metrics such as productivity, quality, and costs.
• Coordinating and monitoring operations to meet production rates and staffing needs.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
