Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, or dispatch preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with computers, email, spreadsheets, data entry, and learning transportation software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver, equipment, pickup, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with drivers regarding assignments, schedules, changes, and customer requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding pickups, deliveries, and service updates.
• Monitor daily operations and help resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and other service issues.
• Prepare, review, and maintain transportation paperwork and records.
• Collect and verify shipping and delivery documentation.
• Enter load, driver, customer, billing, and other operational information accurately.
• Prepare completed loads and documentation for billing.
• Assist with invoicing and follow up on missing or incomplete paperwork.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records.
• Coordinate with operations, safety, accounting, maintenance, and other departments as needed.
• Help improve scheduling, communication, documentation, and administrative processes as the division grows.
