Job summary

Eurest USA at Watson Clinic in Lakeland, FL is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations, prepare meals, and supervise cooks in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires at least one year of sous chef experience or strong culinary skills, a 6:30 am–3:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

You will work with the Executive Chef to maintain quality, safety, and timely meal service for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year sous chef experience or strong culinary skills.
• Ability to follow approved recipes and production standards.
• Willingness to work a 6:30 am–3:00 pm schedule, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling and training.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and workstation.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
