Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a full-time Sous Chef for Watson Clinic in Lakeland, FL. The role supports the Executive Chef, leads cooks and kitchen staff, and ensures production standards and timely service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires at least one year of Sous Chef experience or strong culinary skills, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm. A competitive hourly rate of $17.00 is offered along with internal referral benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of Sous Chef experience or strong culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Helps Executive Chef prepare and cook foods.
• Coordinates activities of cooks and other food-service associates.
• Assumes responsibility for kitchen and food-service associates in the absence of Executive Chef.
• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling and training.
• Maintains sanitation and proper food handling and temperatures.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
