Job summary

Turning Point in Old Tappan, NJ is seeking an HOH manager to lead day-to-day kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, ensure recipes and sanitation standards, and collaborate with front-of-house to deliver a smooth guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, maintaining a positive culture, and delivering high-quality daytime meals from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a supportive schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: At least one year of experience as a cook and/or manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day kitchen operations and delegate tasks to team.
• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook food items.
• Follow all recipes, portion standards, and TP culinary guidelines.
• Maintain proper sanitation and adhere to all food safety procedures.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks to uphold restaurant cleanliness and a safe, organized work environment.
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Utilize knife skills effectively for food preparation tasks.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly after use.
• Communicate with front-of house team to ensure guests are receive meals timely and accurately
