S.P. Richards Company is seeking a Daytime Driver to safely deliver and retrieve office products on scheduled day routes in the Baltimore/DC area, including Jessup, MD. A valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement is required, and candidates must comply with DOT/FMCSA rules and company safety standards.

The role emphasizes accurate POD documentation, hours-of-service records, and professional customer service in a busy, loud warehouse environment. Training on HazMat handling and ELDs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with active HAZMAT endorsement required.
• Must meet TSA security threat assessment requirements and ongoing HazMat training.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT-mandated pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Safely drive and deliver products on established day routes.
• Verify orders, maintain POD, and Hours-of-Service records with ELD.
• Transport hazardous materials per DOT HazMat Regulations and company policy.
• Load/unload using pallet jacks or by hand; keep vehicle clean.
• Retrieve returns and complete paperwork accurately.
