Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a delivery driver to transport products from stores to customers, including hazardous materials, in Salisbury, MD. You will load, transport, and deliver orders while ensuring accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You must hold a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement, MEC, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs. The role may require evenings and weekends and includes comprehensive benefits and driver responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid CDL with hazardous materials endorsement required.
• DOT MEC (Medical Examiner's Certificate) or willing to obtain within 5 business days of offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must read/speak English sufficiently to communicate and document.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must meet performance expectations.
• Complete HR Cloud eLearning courses for current role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders onto the truck correctly.
• Complete required forms and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver items safely and on time to customers.
• Maintain store vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints.
• Adhere to routes and time schedules; follow transportation laws.
• Operate vehicles and equipment (cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.).
• Assist with warehouse tasks, tinting, and order preparation as needed.
