S.P. Richards Company seeks a CDL A driver to safely and promptly deliver and pick up office products on day routes in Atlanta, GA. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, verify PODs, and use ELD devices while following DOT and company safety rules.
HazMat endorsement is required along with a valid MVR and TSA checks. You must lift up to 70 lbs and provide professional customer service in a fast-paced distribution setting.
Responsible for the safe and timely delivery and retrieval of office products to S.P. Richards customers during scheduled day routes. This position requires a valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement and requires adherence to DOT, FMCSA, hazardous materials handling, and company safety standards while providing excellent customer service.
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior CDL Class A delivery experience and familiarity with HAZMAT documentation, ELDs, tablets, Roadnet, or similar routing systems preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write legibly.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Route schedule with frequent customer interaction and independent work required. Work is performed in loud environments with exposure to warehouse, roadway, dock, and customer delivery conditions. Role may include handling or transporting HAZMAT-regulated materials in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
Driver unloads product at customer locations using pallet jacks, dollies, and manual handling as required. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and move heavier loads using appropriate equipment while following safe work practices.
