The Nutrition Group is seeking a substitute food service worker to support an Elizabeth Forward kitchen on an as-needed basis. The role involves cooking, portioning, serving, and dishwashing in a fast-paced school or institutional setting.

Candidates should be able to read recipes, perform basic math, and maintain high sanitation standards in line with USDA/state guidelines. Reliable transportation and a willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and food preparation.
• Portioning and serving food.

• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls.
• Operating a cash register/money handling.
• Manual dishwashing/cleaning duties.
