The Nutrition Group is seeking a substitute food service worker to support a local school kitchen on an as-needed basis. The role involves food preparation, portioning, serving, and sanitation in line with USDA and state guidelines.

Applicants should have basic math skills, reliable transportation, and a willingness to learn. Food service experience is preferred, and computer literacy is a plus. This position offers daylight hours with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and food preparation.
• Portioning and serving food.

• HAACP and health department regulation compliance.
• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls.
• Operating a cash register/money handling.
• Manual Dishwashing/ Cleaning duties
