Job summary

The Big Biscuit in Shawnee, KS is seeking friendly, upbeat service staff for daytime shifts. The role features a 6:30 am - 2:30 pm schedule, great for a part-time arrangement, weekends and holidays required due to peak times.

You’ll earn a base hourly rate plus tips in a fast-paced breakfast and lunch service. As a team player, you will greet guests, take orders, run food, process payments, maintain clean dining areas, and stay knowledgeable about the menu and specials.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience preferred, especially in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food quickly and ensure quality and presentation standards.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Keep dining areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist teammates by running food and refilling drinks.
• Communicate with hosts, bussers, cooks, and managers to support service flow.
