Job summary

Big Biscuit is seeking a friendly server for a DAYS ONLY, daytime schedule from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm in Lenexa, KS. Prior serving experience is helpful but not required; emphasis on hospitality, multitasking, and POS use.

This role is great for a second job or part-time work, with weekends and holidays busiest. Pay rate is $2.13 per hour plus tips, with busy breakfast and lunch service and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to stay calm and friendly during busy service periods.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Able to learn and use POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input into POS.
• Deliver food quickly and ensure quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, daily specials and modifications.
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Keep dining area clean, stocked and organized.
• Assist teammates by running food, refilling drinks and resetting tables.
• Communicate with hosts, bussers, cooks and managers to support service flow.
• Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Provide a positive, guest-first experience from start to finish.
