Merakey is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across community and home settings. You will provide personal care, guidance, and mentorship tailored to each person’s plan.

No experience required; paid training is provided. The role involves working with individuals in various community contexts and requires a compassionate, patient approach.

Qualifikationen

• Related experience is helpful.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Direct Support Professional interacts with and supports the individual in various settings, including community, family or individual homes, and adult training facilities, providing care and support.
• Provides personal care, guidance, mentoring, companionship, and instruction according to the ISP.
• Works across a 24-hour period to enhance health, safety, dignity, and contentment of the consumer.

Requirements

• Community Participation Support certificate preferred.

Payrate: $16.75 (up to $18.75 with the Enhanced Pay option.)

Provides a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every consumer served.
