Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct care, support, and advocacy to individuals in the community. Responsibilities include assisting with community integration, coordinating volunteer activities, recreational outings, and activities of daily living.

This PRN position supports the implementation of home and community services, including rehabilitative and therapeutic activities to help consumers achieve successful outcomes. Payrate is $17/hr and schedule is PRN.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting with individuals who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
• Dual Diagnosis experience preferred.
• Community Participation Support certificate preferred.
