Job summary

Hy-Vee in Mission, KS is seeking a Day Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and appealing for customers. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product, and assist shoppers while delivering friendly, helpful service.

No previous experience is required, but you should be able to follow written and verbal instructions, perform basic math, and stay organized in a fast-paced store. This is an hourly, full-time role with day shifts and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need throughout the store.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly.
• Operate the register for customer purchases as needed.
• Maintain dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies.
