Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers. You will unload trucks, rotate products, assist shoppers, and maintain store cleanliness throughout the day.

This role welcomes individuals with no prior experience and offers training and support as they grow within a team-focused environment. Day shifts are available, and adherence to dress code and store policies is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced store.
• Willingness to be trained and learn stock duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items across the store.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, and handling feedback.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products for freshness.
• Monitor mis-picks, stock levels, and deliveries, report issues.
• Organize stock efficiently and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves and manage overstock and understock drawers.
• Operate registers for customer purchases as needed.
• Stock supplies and assist with outside maintenance like snow removal.
• Keep store clean, including restrooms and break rooms.
• Train new stockers on duties as needed.
