Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an experienced yard loader operator to safely manage heavy equipment, load materials, and maintain stockpiles at our site in Oklahoma. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in handling materials, and adherence to established procedures.
The candidate should perform pre-operational inspections, communicate maintenance needs, and collaborate with teams to meet production goals while preserving a safe work environment.
Safely operate yard loaders and other mobile equipment to move, load, and stockpile materials.
Perform pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure safe, reliable performance.
Load customer trucks and maintain accurate material handling practices.
Monitor material inventory levels and maintain organized stockpile areas.
Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures while supporting plant production goals.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an industrial, construction, mining, or related environment.
Strong commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Ability to perform equipment inspections, identify issues, and communicate maintenance needs.
Dependable work ethic with the capability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and comply with all company policies and safety requirements.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to safely enter, operate, and exit heavy mobile equipment multiple times per shift.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment within established safety guidelines.
Ability to maintain situational awareness and respond effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safely in varying outdoor and industrial conditions.
Starting pay $23.45 per hour DOE
