Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a loader operator to safely operate heavy equipment and support yard operations in New York. You will move, load, and organize materials, monitor stockpiles, and coordinate daily tasks with the yard team.
The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with others; training for inspections and basic maintenance is provided, along with competitive benefits and an employee-focused safety culture.
Operate loader equipment safely to move, load, and organize materials
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Manage stockpiles and support yard material flow
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently
Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures
Capability to identify equipment issues and report them promptly
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team
Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn yard operations
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour
