Lehigh Hanson Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment operator in Indiana to safely operate front-end loaders and related machinery. You will perform pre-operational checks, report issues promptly, and maintain smooth material flow for production and loading activities.
The role requires strong safety discipline, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and the stamina for physical duties while collaborating with a team to meet operational goals.
Safely operate front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to move, load, and stockpile materials.
Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
Maintain consistent material flow to support production and customer loading activities.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deliver excellent service.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production, mining, quarry, or industrial environment.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Ability to inspect equipment, identify concerns, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Capability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Reliable, adaptable, and able to perform physical job duties in a fast-paced setting.
Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
Frequent operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
Physical activities may include climbing, bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
