Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee the receiving dock, inspect and verify materials, and ensure efficient flow of supplies through the facility. You will enter data into the inventory system and support shift duties to maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and adaptation to multi-temperature environments. Training is provided, with opportunities for overtime and growth within the distribution

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 - 12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Review work schedule and prepare supplies for operations.
• Put on required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Open loading dock doors and prepare area to receive products from tractors trailers.
• Inspect incoming trailers and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Receive incoming products and verify against the bill of lading and records.
