GEODIS is hiring a Step-Up Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Fontana, CA. This role coordinates daily DC activities, supervises staff, schedules labor, and ensures accurate inventory and compliance with safety rules.

The supervisor will train new team members and drive efficiency improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment. Qualified candidates bring 3+ years in warehousing, familiarity with WMS and labor systems, plus proficiency with Outlook/Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and labor management systems.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; ability to read safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Prepares work schedules and responds to unexpected labor needs.
• Manages labor hours and payroll in the electronic timekeeping system.
• Interviews and trains prospective and new team members.
• Ensures safety compliance and policy adherence across operations.
• Implements process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Traces item history to resolve inventory discrepancies.
