Job summary

US Foods Roanoke is seeking a Sr. Manager, Warehouse to lead safety, service, and cost initiatives while developing warehouse leaders and ensuring safe, accurate receiving and outbound loading. The role emphasizes coaching, staffing, and process improvements in a dynamic environment, including union and non-union facilities.

You will partner with HR and Operations leadership to optimize performance, enforce standards, and drive cost efficiencies across the warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop Warehouse Managers through coaching and training.
• Drive associate engagement, retention, and a culture aligned with US Foods values.
• Direct and optimize workflows to ensure efficient operations.
• Build teams by staffing, interviewing, and monitoring performance.
• Identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
• Monitor occupancy, inventory accuracy, and loading plans.
