Job summary

Roskam Foods seeks an experienced Operations Leader to oversee a large warehouse operation, including shipping, receiving, staging, and inventory control across multiple shifts. The role partners with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Transportation to optimize workflow and service levels.

The position emphasizes budget management, KPI monitoring, food safety, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations leadership.
• Experience managing supervisors and hourly teams in multi-shift operation.
• Experience with WMS, YMS, ERP, RF scanning, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, staging, and inventory control.
• Lead a 24/5 to 24/7 operation balancing customer service and production needs.
• Ensure materials, packaging, ingredients, and finished goods are moved, stored, scanned, and documented accurately.
• Manage budgets for labor, equipment, and operating expenses.
• Monitor KPIs such as cost per pound sold, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
• Drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Transportation.
