Job summary

Western Digital Corporation seeks a Wafer Manufacturing Process Technician for day shift (Sun-Tue with alternating Wed) to support high-quality wafer production. You will monitor tooling, identify processing issues, resolve WIP delays, and work with engineering to implement changes.

Training and certification of junior operators are part of the role. The ideal candidate has a background in chemical engineering or related fields, strong data analysis skills, and familiarity with semiconductor

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring tooling performance and identifying processing issues.
• Ability to extract, summarize, and present process data for decision making.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tooling performance to ensure high-quality wafers.
• Identify and resolve processing issues affecting output or quality.
• Manage cycle time and resolve delayed WIP in area.
• Assist in documenting and implementing changes per engineering direction.
• Support training and certification of lower-level operators.
