Job summary

Western Digital Corporation is seeking a Chemical Support Operator for the night shift (7pm–7:30am) to support wafer manufacturing. You will monitor, prepare, and distribute materials, mix baths, and perform titrations and pH measurements while troubleshooting equipment.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree in Biology or Chemistry or related training, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently once trained.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Biology or Chemistry or equivalent; training possible for motivated candidates.
• Flexibility to work a 12-hour AWS shift and overtime as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chemical consumption and replenish as needed.
• Remove chemical waste and dispose properly.
• Follow procedures to measure, mix, and deliver materials to the manufacturing line.
• Set up laboratory equipment for tests and process control.
• Test and analyze products for quality attributes and chemical content.
• Document results in SPC charts.
• Work independently with minimal supervision after training.
