Job summary

Solid State Devices, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Wafer Fabrication production support team. The role covers installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of complex manufacturing equipment used in our facility in California.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, repairs, ESD and grounding checks, and coordinating with suppliers. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree and 3 years of hands-on technical experience and

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 3 years of hands-on technical experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and Repair Production Equipment
• Installation and upgrades of older equipment
• Assemble/Repair/ Replace Fixtures (test sockets, cables, etc.)
• Perform ESD and grounding check of production work Benches and equipment
• Coordinate with Suppliers / Vendors on equipment, supplies, and service
• Perform Preventive Maintenance on Production Equipment
• Safety and compliance

Skills

Hands-on technical experience

Education

Associate degree or equivalent

Tools

Knowledge of production equipment

Knowledge of high temperature furnace applications

Water cooling and chilling systems

Knowledge of vacuum systems, cryo, and pumps

Experience with temperature controllers

Able to read schematics
