Job summary

WD is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join our wafer manufacturing team. You will develop, optimize, and sustain advanced processes in high-volume semiconductor production, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and partners to resolve complex technical challenges.

The role targets early career professionals (0–2+ years) and includes structured onboarding, mentorship, and a curated development curriculum to build foundational expertise in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, microfabrication, research laboratories, or other technology-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain advanced processes used in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing (e.g., electroplating, wet etch, liftoff, lithography).
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive technical growth, mentorship, and career development.
• Work with experienced engineers, technicians, and equipment specialists to solve complex technical challenges.
• Support early career development onboarding, structured training, and development curriculum.
