Responsibilities

• Schedule elective, urgent, add-on, and emergent surgical procedures per guidelines.
• Coordinate block scheduling for multiple surgical specialties.
• Verify and complete all scheduling block information before final placement.
• Ensure cases follow surgeon preferences, equipment needs, staffing and regulatory standards.
• Prioritize trauma and emergency cases while balancing throughput and efficiency.
• Support same-day block and surgical schedule changes with minimal disruption.
