Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System Cypress Hospital seeks a Business Coordinator to manage department administration, acting as a liaison among physicians, the hospital and management for scheduling, meetings, paperwork, revenue cycle oversight and program compliance.

Required to hold a bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration with at least two years of healthcare admin experience; strong organization, communication, and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.
• Two years of healthcare administrative experience.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with credentialing and data management regarding physician information.
• Ensures on-boarding logistics are in place for new providers.
• Monitors and reports on physician satisfaction through personal visitations, telemarketing and other client contacts.
• Develops and produces reports, letters, memorandum, minutes and other departmental correspondence.
• Maintains staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and accurate staff reporting.
• Participates in ongoing process improvement efforts and has knowledge related to change management.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.
• Promotes professional growth and acts as mentor/resource to staff.
