Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator for the Grand Prairie, TX facility. You will monitor sterilization equipment, observe readings, adjust controls, and document data to ensure safe, compliant production.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year in a sterilization environment, and ability to complete Operator Certification within 18 months. Forklift experience and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
6 months to 1 year of experience in a sterilization environment preferred.
Must complete Operator Certification within 18 months.
Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
Basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units.
Flexibility to work established shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
Forklift driving experience preferred.
Computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor sterilization system readings (pressure, temperature, humidity) on charts or monitors.
Turn valves and adjust controls to ensure safe operation of equipment.
Observe sterilizers and assist with repairs as needed; record process readings.
Report damaged product or system problems to supervisors.
Assist with routine maintenance and other tasks as assigned.
