Job summary

Quaker Houghton in Middletown, OH is seeking a shipping/receiving Associate to ensure timely delivery of products and support light production duties. You will load/unload trucks, handle materials with forklifts, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include generating SDS and labels via WERCS, assisting with inventory counts, and coordinating shipment paperwork. A High School diploma and 1–2 years in chemical manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–2 years in chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks, tankers, and trailers.
• Transport materials using forklifts and handling equipment.
• Generate and print labels and SDS using WERCS software.
• Support inventory management with counts and tracking.
• Prepare drums and bins for shipment; inspect shipment containers.
