Job summary

Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. is seeking a shipping/receiving associate to ensure timely delivery of products and support light production activities.

The role involves loading/unloading, generating labels and SDS, inventory support, and ensuring clean, safe work areas in a manufacturing setting. You will handle drums, bins, and containers, coordinate with Customer Care for delays, and assist in investigating customer complaints while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to work in a fast pace environment, to work at different projects at the same time, and to think analytically.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks, tankers and trailers.
• Generate and print labels and SDSs from WERCS software.
• Support inventory management and perform counts.
• Prepare drums and bins for shipment and inspect containers.
• Schedule carrier pickups and create BOLs for shipments.
• Operate production equipment and draw product into drums and totes.
