Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor in Doral, FL, to oversee daily security operations on a Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:00pm shift. You will lead a team of officers, coordinate schedules, deliver training, and ensure high-quality security services for diverse clients including CRE, healthcare, education, and government.

Requires 3–5 years of supervisor security experience, a valid Florida D license, and bilingual Spanish/English.

Qualifications

• Fluent bilingual required (Spanish and English).
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory security experience.
• Valid Florida D security license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site
• Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/ selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support
• Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
• Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
• Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
• Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
• Assure regular communication of issues or program with Client
• Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
• Other management responsibilities as determined by leadership
• Communicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates
• Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management and coaching
• Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved and personnel records kept up to date
• Assure communication of policies and job openings through updated READ file
• Meet all contractual scheduled hours with minimum unbilled overtime
• Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT and annual refresher training
• Develop/maintain operational procedures for emergency reference by security staff
• Manage uniforms, equipment, and vehicles and maintain inventories
• Proactively communicate with the client to meet needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment
• Capably utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing and to produce reports
• Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in handbooks and memos
