Covenant Living Communities and Services in Carol Stream, IL, is seeking an Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, participate in care planning, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, an active IL RN license, at least one year of nursing experience, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• One year nursing experience required.
• Patient-centered, compassionate care with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
• Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
• Motivate LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
• Explain nursing procedures and provide training to staff.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments and concerns.
• Observe residents’ health and report significant changes to physician and family as indicated.
