Covenant Living at Windsor Park in Carol Stream, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time Day shift (12-hour). You will oversee LPNs and CNAs, perform assessments, coordinate care plans, and deliver direct resident care per nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has an approved school of nursing diploma, an active RN license in Illinois, and at least one year of nursing experience, with strong communication and compassionate patient care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• One year nursing experience necessary.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English).
• Genuine compassion for senior adults and the disabled.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit, assuring a high standard of nursing care.
• Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
• Assist in motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
• Communicate on a regular basis with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments and concerns.
• Observe and evaluate residents' health and mood changes and notify physician/family as needed.
• Be available to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays as needed.
• Provide direct care to residents according to nursing standards and procedures.

Formação académica

Graduate of an approved school of nursing
