Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care, including discharge planning, with patient/family input.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care and supervision of the care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and outcomes in the patient record.
• Participate in education, mentoring and unit leadership activities.
• Contribute to timely, safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
