Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a part-time RN to join the perianesthesia team in Mesa, AZ. You will assess patients, plan and provide nursing care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy operating room setting.

This role requires a current RN license and BLS certification, with weekend rotations available. New graduates are welcome to apply, with opportunities for professional growth within Banner's acute care services.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
BLS certification is required.
Banner acute care positions require at least one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting or relevant experience for new grads.

Responsibilities

Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge needs.
Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning.
Implement and coordinate care with the health care team.
Evaluate patient and family responses and adjust the care plan as needed.
Document assessment, plan and evaluation in the patient record with clear communication to caregivers.
Promote evidence-based practice and participate in unit leadership and education.
