Job summary

Intersect Healthcare, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for day shift (12 hours) to provide quality nursing care, coordinate total nursing care with the DON and Unit Managers, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires supervising appropriate personnel and delivering daily and periodic reports. Key duties include assessing residents, developing and updating Care Plans, administering meds, supervising CNAs, and documenting in PCC.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement interventions and develop care plans; record observations in PCC and follow care plans.
• Make rounds with physician; observe symptoms and progress; adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care for residents.
• Administer medications according to policies and physician orders; communicate contraindications.
