Job summary

Certus Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents in a long‑term care setting. You will coordinate care plans, supervise licensed staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires a current Michigan RN license, CPR certification, and strong organizational skills. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, with flexibility for 12-hour shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make regular rounds with a physician to observe symptoms and evaluate responses to treatments.
• Provide care including wound care, IV therapy, Foley catheter care, and tube feedings as prescribed.
• Coordinate schedules for physicians, therapy, and consults; document in appointment book.
• Monitor CNA staff and assist with resident care duties as needed.
• Administer medications per regulations and physician orders; report contraindications.
