Job summary

Ally Medical ER seeks a Radiology Technologist to support physicians and the RN in charge by delivering basic patient care and performing radiologic exams under supervision. The role includes producing radiographs and CT scans and ensuring image quality for reads.

The ideal candidate will hold an AS degree in Radiology, ARRT certification and Texas licensure, with CPR/BLS certification and at least two years of hospital or ER radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent with Radiology Technologist credential.
• At least two years of experience as Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT Certification and CPR/BLS Certification; Texas license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to patients under the direction of the registered nurse in charge and/or physician.
• Performs patient measurements, vital signs, IV initiations, blood draws, and documentation.
• Performs diagnostic testing using x-ray and CT equipment in accordance with protocol.
• Produces quality images and uploads them for radiology reads/interpretations.
• Assists with assessments, examinations and treatment.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and positions patients for exams as needed.
